About Carlton Boxing Academy
Carlton Boxing Academy opened on 26 January 2017.
Then called Carlton Police Boxing Academy, it began as a partnership between Carlton Bolling College and Bradford Police ABC, the oldest amateur boxing club in Bradford’s history. The name has since changed but our mission remains the same.
Inspiring young people to realise their potential
Our mission is to promote the benefits of healthy living, educational excellence and positive citizenship within our diverse community.
We aim to do this by:
- encouraging young people to have fun as they gain confidence, improve self esteem, increase fitness and exercise self discipline.
- inspiring a new generation of young people and support them to realise their potential in sport, education and employment.
- promoting a growth mindset, positive attitudes and self belief
- providing an environment and opportunities for young people, regardless of ability, to experience success
